  • Save Your Money - book early to make savings of up to 60% on the price of booking your airport hotel and parking separately!
  • Save Your Time - forget motorway queues on the day of travel, forget trying to find a parking space or a hotel room when you arrive at the airport and even forget having to ring around for availability - an online search will give you full details long before you travel so you can select the right deal for your needs.
  • Guarantee a hotel room and your own parking space - at busy times, most hotels and car parks are full - so plan ahead and ensure your room and space are reserved for you.

  • Rest and Relaxation - by staying overnight you can avoid the stress of travelling to the airport in the early hours with small children. You can unwind with a meal or drink and use the facilities, such as the swimming pool or gym, safe in the knowledge that your car is parked securely while you are away. You'll also get a good night's sleep in the comfort of your hotel room before you set off on your holiday.

Which airport hotel and parking deal should I choose?

Airport hotels can be varied in terms of style, location and facilities - as well as cost. They also have a variety of deals available when it comes to parking, some offering secure parking with others merely offering a space in their car park, which may potentially be unsecure. The parking may even be off-site.

For hotels you can choose from 5* luxury to budget B&Bs, hotels with linked walkways into the airport terminal and those from which you need to take a shuttle bus to reach check in. There are airport hotels geared towards business travellers and those more for holidaymakers.

When you are choosing a parking and hotel deal, decide the following;

  • Your maximum budget for the hotel stay and parking costs
  • Total number of hotel rooms and guests staying
  • The type and quality of standards you are used to when 'overnighting' in hotels - budget, mid range or top end!  Unless you use all the facilities of the hotel you choose, then you have probably paid out too much for something you didn't actually need.
  • How far you are prepared to be from the airport terminals
  • Consider your check in time. How long does it take to reach the terminal from the hotel?
  • Do you want your parking space to be secure?
  • Check whether your hotel offers a transfer service from check in to the airport terminal.  These may or may not operate 24 hours a day.
  • Check whether the hotel offers a pick up service on your return from your business trip or holiday.

All of this will help you choose the hotel and parking option that is best for you!

How do I save money on airport hotels with parking?

The key to saving money is to book early.  All hotel with parking options have a limit on the number of rooms and spaces available and the special prices attached to them, so booking ahead ensures you snap up the best rates before they are sold out.  These deals are often sold as promotions through the companies we have listed and are often far cheaper than dealing with the hotels direct.

You can minimise the number of rooms by getting people to share if you are travelling in a group.  Rooms are generally sold on room only basis at airports, so eat out to cut down on room service and expensive hotel meals.

Many of the hotels we have listed are on offer from several companies, all with their own contracts and pricing.  It is wise to shop around to check all of the suppliers we recommend so you can bag the best price they have for the dates you are travelling.

What do I need to know when booking?

When you book, familiarise yourself with your check in information. Always allow time to transfer from the hotel to check in, remember it may involve a transfer by bus.

When ready to book make sure you have your information ready to supply to the hotel and parking company:

  • Your Name
  • Total number of rooms and guests
  • Your date of check in and your length of stay
  • Your car make & model
  • Your car registration
  • Your flight number & outbound time from the UK
  • Your flight number & arrival time back to the UK
  • Your preferred method of payment
  •  Home address and contact telephone numbers

Most companies will accept both major credit and debit cards for payment, however some do have a handling charge for some of those - so check with the provider before booking.

When you have made your booking you will receive an email to confirm your booking details as well as the information for your hotel check-in, your instructions for where to park and to check in your car. Keep the email safe and place a copy with your travel documents - don't forget to take it with you when you travel!
